When starting therapy of any kind, the focus is often to simply fix whatever problem or issue the client is experiencing. But just fixing the problem is not enough. My modern counseling approach is different than normal methods focusing on using your story to define a new one. I will achieve this through an authentic use of psychology and personal storytelling that allows you to empower yourself and find the answers to your issues within you.


The Therapy Process

My process always begins with a free consultation. This will give you an introduction of how I provide therapy to clients giving an authentic look into my process. I will typically ask a few questions to get a grip on what your unique situation is and allow you to express what it is you’re here for. I will talk with you through the situation and determine if you feel I am the right therapist for you.

Tell Your Story

Should you choose to continue, we will start to delve deeper into why you are here and what you hope to accomplish. We will talk about how whatever is bothering you makes you feel but also the situations in the past have led to you seeking therapy with me. This story that you tell will chart your path forward in therapy with me and determine how to approach rewriting it.

Redefine Your Story

The final step in the process is find a way to finally let you be in control of your story. Together, we will look at where you are and towards where you want to be and who you want to be. This is the most critical part in my process because it involves you to look deep inside yourself asking, “What do I want my story to be?” While I will guide you, ultimately you will blaze the path forward, starting a new chapter in the story of your life.
